Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and singer. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. Although she's a singer, her primary passion is music. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled into when she was just nine years old. When she was 12 years old, music was important enough to begin professional training. At 13, she began making music. Her debut album at 14 years old. And the rest is history. Orrantia is a native of America, has Hispanic ancestry. She is proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots despite using English only and never lived in Mexico. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs she is trying to preserve the tradition. 'Hasta Verte' a song she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected by a panel of YouTube videos and received the four "yeses," from judges at Seattle at the time of live auditions. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. However, three female singers along with her were put together to audition the rest of her songs. They were eliminated in the 5th week during the live show.
