Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). Her family was an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the arts. In the beginning, she worked as a assistant to photographers. Later on, her career shifted towards modeling and directing. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies she was deemed one of the most successful women in box office history. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw is married three times.
