Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very famous. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by many people in America. When she was in 9th grade she felt more comfortable after she was acknowledged by her teachers as a success for singing at a school's audition. This not only increased her confidence but her ambitions changed. In the year 22 she graduated at the Julliard School of New York. At the age of 23 she made her debut at the Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. The most notable accomplishment of her career occurred in the role of The Lady Of The Lake in Spamalot's original Broadway production. Not only did she win the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by the critics. Following that, in 2007, she was cast in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. An accomplished singer and producer, she's produced songs as well as an extensive work. She's also an activist who is a tireless advocate for LGBT rights.
